I created the entire nomination deck, animated star background and podium sign for the Tony Announcements. 

While some elements were kept from previous years such as the typeface and logo, I had freedom to create the starry background that could be applied to various surfaces and created variations of how the images were displayed. 

Tony Awards 2017

A large part of the Tony Awards goal is to highlight the richness of the red carpet event. In previous years the obvious choice for a Red carpet event meant going with a red color theme. However, this year they picked a new headlight "where the stars align" which seems that a more appropriate theme would be a more starry blue theme, while keeping with the same elegant appearance from previous years.
